On May 30 of this year, the first meeting of joint commission Russia and Uzbekistan was held in Urgench. These includes the Agreement on cooperation between the JSC "St. Petersburg International Commodity Exchange" and of UZEX JSC.

The agreement provides development of modern formats and technologies of organized trading in the commodity markets of petrochemistry, lumber and others, as well as derivative financial instruments, the underlying asset of which is the goods;

Besides, a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the Russian-Uzbek Business Council (Russian Federation) and of UZEX JSC. According to the Memorandum, the parties agreed on information interaction and promotion of the development of trade and economic cooperation between the business entities of the two countries.

In addition an Action Plan (“Road Map”) to implement the provisions of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the two countries. The roadmap provides for the promotion of the products of Uzbek and Russian enterprises in the trading platform of UZEX JSC in Chelyabinsk.
