The total volume of trades in the electronic platform of UZEX in March of this year amounted to 1.2 trillion soums, which is 19.8% higher than the figure for the same period of 2016. The growth parameters were observed on all trading platforms of the exchange.
Goods worth 938,4 billion soums were sold through platforms against 796,1 billion soums in March last year. The share of non-ferrous metals in the structure of sold goods rose from 6% to 8%, while the share of liquefied natural gas on the contrary decreased from 9% to 7%.
The foreign platform of the exchange saw significant changes, with the volume of goods sold through it amounting to $6.1 million. The main driver of the platform was polyethylene with a share of 55%.
The total volume of deals concluded with small business and private entrepreneurship entities made up 834.2 billion soums, which is 14.2% more than in the same period of 2016. The entrepreneurs purchased through the exchange commodity resources for 592.5 billion soums and sold their products worth 241.7 billion soums.
