From June 1 2015 the Uzbek Republican Commodity Exchange (UZEX) launched a new electronic trading system (e-catalog) in public procurement procedure according to which the purchase of goods (works, services) in the amount of basic necessities under one contract equivalent to no more than 100 thousand US dollars will be carried out within 48 hours.

Electronic catalog is formed on a special information portal UZEX of the quotation, addressed to customers. In this case, customers will be able to select necessary commodity from the electronic catalog, and guaranteeing suppliers, unlike other providers, will not make mortgage funds to participate in electronic trading on public procurement.

Regulations on the procedure of state procurement of goods (works, services) essentials from business entities via electronic trading through a special information portal of the Uzbek Republican Commodity Exchange approved by the Cabinet of Ministers dated March 26, 2015 №69. According to this document the list of goods (works, services) essentials approved by the Government Commission on Public Procurement.
