Uzbek Commodity Exchange (UZEX) in its central building held a regular meeting with entrepreneurs of Tashkent and Tashkent region. The event was organized in order to improve the trading system of corporate procurement and attract more providers to electronic trading, the press service of the Uzbek Commodity Exchange reports.

The meeting was attended enterprise-suppliers, operating in such segments as production and sales of ferrous metals, machinery, mechanical equipment, machine tools and component materials.

According UZEX in the above segments of corporate procurement most high competition among the suppliers is observed, and the volume of transactions for individual lots may exceed several billion soums.

During the meeting, the experts of the Center for the promotion of products of small businesses and the staff of the Tashkent branch of JSC "UZEX" demonstrated the order of participation at auction, and the calculation of advance payments, making counter orders, execution of contracts signed during the electronic auction, and also clarified the responsibility of customers and suppliers to fulfill contracts registered.

In addition, business representatives got familiar with the regulations, on the basis of which corporate bids and list of product groups are conducted, according to which enterprise customers must purchase goods through electronic auctions.

In addition, during the event, the Center specialists announced information about the list of last resort suppliers, which was formed in conjunction with the Treasury Department of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan. One of the requirements for inclusion in the list of last resort suppliers is the implementation of the supply of goods or services in the last 12 months. Currently, the total amount of guaranteed suppliers is already 100 companies, the name of which will be published on a special information portal of UZEX.
