In order to fulfill the tasks outlined in the State Program "Year of Dialogue with the People and Human Interests", UZEX together with the territorial department of the Treasury of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan and local khokimiyats held a series of meetings and training seminars in the districts of Tashkent city and Tashkent region.

In February 2017, the Uzbek Republican Commodity Exchange (UZEX) saw deals for 1.08 trillion soums, which is 19% higher than in the same period last year. Positive dynamics of trading was observed on the stock exchange platform, as well as in the system of state and corporate purchases

In 2016, the sales volume of coal at exchange trades of UZEX reached 91 thousand tonnes, 22% up year-on-year. The average monthly sales of all brands amounted to 7.6 thousand tons, the press service of the exchange said.

In September, UZEX saw deals concluded worth 994.5 billion soums that is by 23.8% more against the same period of the last year. Positive dynamics of trading was observed on the exchange platform, as well as in the system of public and corporate procurement.

On September 6, the Central guest hall of the Treasury of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan saw a meeting of specialists of the Treasury and "UZEX" with representatives of the public organizations of the Tashkent city and Tashkent region.

The specialists of the Uzbek Commodity Exchange (UZEX) has developed and implemented a new electronic module of the Special Commission on consideration of disputes and disagreements on issues of public and corporate procurement.

Uzbek commodity exchange has modernized its electronic system of exhibition trade in the framework of measures to improve electronic trading, which is the basis for the development of electronic commerce. With the popularity of the Internet-trading growing in the world, the exchange specialists held consistent work to develop the system of exhibitions and trade fairs on the basis of new innovations.

On July 23, the Board of the Uzbek Commodity Exchange held an enlarged meeting on the results of the work of the exchange during the first half of 2016, as well as the tasks set for the third quarter. The meeting was attended by the heads of subdivisions of the Central apparatus and regional branches.
